Bihar PGEAC Round 3 Counselling 2026 Begins September 2, Non-GATE Candidates Check New Schedule

Short Information: Bihar PGEAC Round 3 Counselling 2026 The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced Round 3 counselling for PGEAC-2026 for admission to M.Tech courses in government engineering colleges of Bihar. The notice, dated August 30, 2026, is specifically for Non-GATE candidates and will be conducted against seats remaining vacant after Round 2.

Fresh online registration will begin on September 2, 2026, while the last date to register is September 6, 2026, up to 10:00 PM. Candidates who complete the application must also make the counselling-fee payment and final submission by September 6 at 11:59 PM. The Round 3 counselling is proposed to begin from September 11, 2026 onwards.

Candidates should check the PGEAC-2026 seat matrix and prospectus on the BCECE Board website before applying. The Board has clearly stated that counselling and admission under this round will be conducted offline.

Who Can Participate in PGEAC Round 3?

Round 3 is only for Non-GATE candidates.

The notice covers two major categories of candidates:

• Eligible B.E./B.Tech passed Non-GATE candidates who did not submit the PGEAC application earlier can register afresh for Round 3.
• Candidates who had already submitted the application for PGEAC-2026 and participated in Round 2 can give their Consent/Willingness through their login if they want to participate in Round 3 for vacant seats.
• Candidates who were admitted, not admitted or remained absent in Round 2 may also provide their willingness, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notice.
• Candidates whose seat was not allotted in Round 2 because of a discrepancy in their B.E./B.Tech passing percentage can participate by giving willingness and editing their percentage/marks in the application. They must finally submit the application and download the updated confirmation page.

Important Rule for Candidates Allotted a Seat in Round 2

Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 2 and give willingness for Round 3 will not be allowed to edit their previously filled application data.

Those who were admitted through Round 2 and want to participate in Round 3 must produce their admission slip and Bonafide Certificate from the admitted college concerning submission of original documents during the Round 3 document-verification/counselling process.

Application Fee :Bihar PGEAC Round 3 Counselling 2026

The counselling fee is ₹2,200 for candidates belonging to Unreserved, EWS, BC, EBC, SC, ST and DQ (PwD) categories.

Payment has to be made online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI. Any applicable processing charge for online payment is additional. The notice states that the counselling fee, once paid, will not be refunded.

If the amount is debited but the transaction fails, the candidate has to make the required payment again and ensure that the fee is successfully reflected in the Board’s account before the deadline. The failed transaction will be refunded in due course, according to the notice.

3. Preview and check all details, then click “Final Submit & Proceed to Payment.”

5. Download the Confirmation Page and Fee Receipt for future counselling use.

Candidates must bring the applicable original documents at the time of counselling/allotment. The notice lists the following documents:

1. GATE Score Card, if applicable
2. PGEAC-2026 Rank Card
3. Matriculation/Equivalent examination certificate, marks sheet or admit card
4. Intermediate Science/Equivalent examination certificate, marks sheet or admit card
5. B.E./B.Tech passing certificate or marks sheet
6. CGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate, if applicable
