CWC Vacancy 2026: Post-Wise Distribution

CWC has announced a total of 327 vacancies across eight post codes. Assistant Manager posts account for 171 vacancies, while Junior Executive posts make up 156.

The pay scale for Assistant Manager posts is Rs. 40,000–1,40,000 (E-1), and for Junior Executive posts, it is Rs. 29,000–93,000 (S-V).

Reservation is applicable as per Government of India norms, including SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen categories. EWS candidates must produce an Income & Asset Certificate for the financial year 2025–26, valid for 2026–27, issued by a competent authority.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must be in possession of their final mark sheets/certificates as on November 15, 2026. Those appearing in their final year/final semester are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit (as on November 15, 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Candidates should be born between November 16, 1998 and November 15, 2008 (both days inclusive).

Age Relaxation

The maximum age limit after all cumulative relaxations cannot exceed 55 years as on the last date of application.

CWC Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

Payment must be made online through Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, IMPS, Cash Cards or Mobile Wallets. Fees paid through any other mode will not be accepted.

CWC Selection Process 2026

The selection process differs by post:

• Post Codes 01–06 (Assistant Manager posts): Online Test + Document Verification + Interview
• Post Codes 07–08 (Junior Executive posts): Online Test + Document Verification

For Assistant Manager posts, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview in a 1:5 ratio. For Junior Executive posts, the document verification ratio is 1:3. The interview carries 30 marks, with a weightage ratio of 85:15 between the online exam and interview.

There is a negative marking of one-fourth (1/4th) of the marks assigned to a question for every wrong answer in the objective tests. No penalty for unattempted questions.

The minimum qualifying marks for the Professional/Subject Knowledge section and the Descriptive Test is 40% for Unreserved candidates and 35% for OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

CWC has also announced that selected Assistant Manager candidates will need to furnish a bond of Rs. 1,00,000 to serve the corporation for a minimum of two years at the time of joining. For Junior Executive posts, the bond amount is Rs. 50,000 for a two-year service commitment.
