Short Information: RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2026 The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is inviting online applications for 572 Office Attendant positions for the year 2025.  Selection for this post will be through a competitive examination (online test) followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). All interested Indian citizens can apply online through the official RBI portal, rbi.org.in, from January 15, 2026, to February 4, 2026, for the Office Attendant Recruitment Examination 2026.

Eligibility for Educational Qualification RBI Office Attendant 2026

  1. An applicant should have passed 10th (SSC/ Matriculation) from a recognized board/ university.
  2. The candidate should be an undergraduate as on 01/01/2026. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not eligible to apply.

RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2026: Salary / Pay Scale

Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.24,250/- per month in the scale of Rs.24250 – 840 (4) – 27610 – 980 (3) – 30550 – 1200 (3) – 34150 -1620 (2) – 37390 – 1990 (4) – 45350 – 2700(2) – 50750 – 2800 (1) – 53550 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Office Attendants will be approximately Rs.46,029/- per month.

House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation.

Selection will be through Online Test and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Language Proficiency Test (LPT): The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the online test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be of qualifying nature and will be conducted in the Official / Local Language/s of the State concerned
