 Preliminary Exam (Prelims)

• • Format: 1 paper – Objective, offline (pen & paper)
  • Marks & Questions: 150 MCQs totaling 150 marks
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Negative marking: ‑0.33 marks for incorrect answers
  • Purpose: Qualifying only; marks don’t contribute to final merit, but clearing it is necessary for Mains.

    • Indian & Bihar History
    • Geography of India & Bihar
    • Indian Polity & Economy
    • Indian National Movement (emphasis on Bihar’s role)

✍ Mains Exam

• • Format: Descriptive written (offline)
  • Papers (4 total):
    1. General Hindi – Qualifying, 100 marks, 3 hours
       (must score ≥30%; marks not included in final merit)
    2. General Studies Paper I – 300 marks, 3 hours
    3. General Studies Paper II – 300 marks, 3 hours
    4. Optional Subject Paper – 300 marks, 3 hours
  • Total Marks: 1,000 (300+300+300 for GS I, GS II & Optionals; Hindi is qualifying)
  • Only marks from GS I, GS II, and Optional count toward final merit.

🎙 Interview (Personality Test)

• • Marks: 120
  • Conducted after the Mains; added to mains scores to determine final ranking.

         • Fill in your name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
         • Submit and note your Registration Number and Password.
      4. Login to Fill Form:
         • Use the registration credentials to log in.
         • Complete the application form with personal details, educational qualifications, and address.
      5. Upload Documents:
         • Upload scanned copies of:
