Age Limit:- He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course. Accordingly, the lower age limit shall be as under: For Candidates of General (UR)/ General-EWS born on or before 31.12.2009 For Candidates of SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ PwBD/ PwD Category There is no upper age limit.

NEET UG Registration 2026 Eligibility Criteria and Qualifying Examination Codes

01	Candidates appearing or passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects and expecting to secure the required marks.
02	Passed 12th / ISC / Equivalent (after 12 years of study) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English, and practical exams (Maths/other elective allowed).
03	Passed Intermediate / Pre-degree (Science stream) from a recognized board/university with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, and English (with practicals).
04	Passed Pre-Medical / Pre-Professional exam after 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, and English, including practical tests.
05	Completed 1st year of a 3-year degree course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech + Practicals, and passed 12th with PCB & English.
06	Passed B.Sc. Degree with at least two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, and previously passed 12th with PCB & English.
07	Passed any equivalent examination (recognized by authorities) having last 2 years of study in PCB + Practicals + English at 10+2 level.
