Q1. What is the last date to apply for DSSSB District Court Recruitment 2026?

The last date to submit online applications is 4 November 2026 till 11:00 PM. The application window opens on 6 October 2026 from 12:00 noon.

Q2. How many total vacancies are notified?

A total of 641 vacancies across District & Sessions Courts and Family Courts.

Q3. Which posts are included in this recruitment?

Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, Junior Judicial Assistant, Process Server and Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon.

Q4. What is the age limit for these posts?

Candidates must have attained 18 years and should not have attained 27 years as on 1 June 2026. This means born not earlier than 2 June 1999 and not later than 1 June 2008. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD and Ex-servicemen as per rules.

Q5. What is the application fee?

₹100 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-serviceman candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

Q6. What is the selection process?

It varies by post:
Senior Personal Assistant & Personal Assistant: Tier-I MCQ, Tier-II Descriptive, Tier-III Skill Test, Tier-IV Interview.
Junior Judicial Assistant: Tier-I MCQ, Tier-II Descriptive, Tier-III Typing Test, Tier-IV Interview.
Process Server: Tier-I MCQ, Tier-II Driving Test, Tier-III Interview.
Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon: Tier-I MCQ, Tier-II Interview.

Q7. Is there negative marking in the exam?

Yes, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer in the MCQ test.

Q8. What are the minimum qualifying marks?

50% for UR/EWS and 45% for OBC (Delhi), SC, ST, PwBD and ESM candidates in Tier-I and Tier-II (descriptive).

Q9. What is the mode of application?

Only online through the official portal https://dsssbonline.nic.in. No other mode is accepted.

Q10. Can I apply for multiple posts?

No. Only one registration and one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation of candidature and debarment.

Q11. What is the cut-off date for determining eligibility?

The cut-off date for educational qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions (except age) is 4 November 2026. Age is reckoned as on 1 June 2026.

Q12. Do OBC candidates from outside Delhi get reservation benefits?

No. Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by Govt. of NCT of Delhi are eligible for reservation and age relaxation. OBC (outside) candidates will be treated as Unreserved.
