Sr Assistant Officer (HR)

• Candidates should have a qualifying postgraduate degree, diploma or programme in management with at least 60% marks and specialization in areas such as Human Resource, Industrial Relations or Personnel Management.

• Sr Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
• Applicants should have a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.
• Candidates must also have a minimum of two years of post-qualification executive experience, including the training period where applicable, in the power sector covering Coal, Gas or Lignite-based operations, maintenance, commissioning, erection or engineering work.

Sr Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

• Candidates should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering with at least 60% marks.
• A minimum of two years of relevant executive experience in the power sector is required in areas related to operation, maintenance, commissioning, erection or engineering.

Sr Assistant Engineer (C&I)

• Applicants need a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, Instrumentation, or Electronics & Communication with at least 60% marks.
• Candidates should also have at least two years of relevant post-qualification executive experience in the power sector.

Sr Assistant Engineer (IT/ERP)

• Candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least 60% marks.
• The post requires a minimum of two years of relevant executive experience in an organisation of repute involving IT infrastructure, systems and operations. Experience in power, infrastructure, engineering or manufacturing sectors is desirable. Network Engineer certification such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent is preferable.

Selected candidates will be placed in the following pay scale:

Rs. 40,000 – Rs. 1,40,000 (IDA Pattern)

Other benefits, including Dearness Allowance, allowances, perquisites and terminal benefits, will be provided according to the company rules applicable from time to time.

NSPCL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Eligible applicants will have to appear in an All India-based Online Selection Test.

The test will consist of two parts:

1. Subject Knowledge Test (SKT)
2. Executive Aptitude Test (EAT)

Candidates must qualify separately in both parts of the online test. Based on merit and the requirements of the posts, shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview.

The final selection will be based on:

• 85% weightage: Online Selection Test
• 15% weightage: Personal Interview

Candidates shortlisted for the interview must also secure the applicable minimum qualifying marks.

NSPCL Service Agreement Bond

Selected candidates belonging to the General category will have to execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 5,00,000.

For candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwBD categories, the bond amount will be Rs. 2,50,000.

Selected candidates will be required to serve NSPCL for at least four years after joining the company.
