Important Dates and Venue Details

Mandatory Documents Checklist

On the day of your PE&MT, you must carry the following documents. Failure to produce them will result in immediate disqualification:

  • e-Admit Card: Download this from the official Delhi Police recruitment website.
  • Photographs: Ten (10) recent passport-sized colored photographs.
  • Photo ID Proof: At least one clear original ID (Passport, Aadhaar, Driving License, Voter ID, PAN Card, etc.) that shows your complete date of birth.
  • Original Certificates: You must bring original educational certificates, caste/community certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), sports certificates, NCC certificates, or any other relevant documents.

  • Constable (Executive) Male: You must possess a valid LMV Driving License (Motorcycle or Car) on the date of the PE&MT. Please note that a Learner’s License is not acceptable.
  • Constable (Driver): Candidates must have a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License issued on or before 15.10.2025.

Understanding the PE&MT Process

The test is conducted in a specific sequence. You must qualify for one stage to move to the next:

  1. The Race: This is the first event. You must qualify here to proceed.
  2. Long Jump & High Jump: Candidates are provided three attempts to qualify for these events. Note that there is no appeal against disqualification in the Race, Long Jump, or High Jump.
  3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): This is only conducted for those who successfully pass all Physical Endurance events (Race, Long Jump, and High Jump).

  • Reservation Candidates: Those seeking relaxation or reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) must ensure their certificates are in the prescribed format mentioned in the official notification.
  • Female Candidates: Candidates who are pregnant, have recently given birth, or have had a miscarriage will be declared temporarily unfit until the confinement period ends. They must submit an application with medical documents at the venue on their scheduled date.
  • Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Serving personnel must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) with their discharge date, while discharged personnel must bring their Discharge Book/Certificate.

  • Arrive Prepared: Delhi Police will not provide any travelling allowance or expenses for attending the test.
  • Safety First: Delhi Police is not responsible for any injury or loss that may occur during the test.
