Eligibility Criteria for JNVST Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2027-28

Admission is strictly district-specific. Here are the core eligibility requirements:

  1. Residency & Schooling: A candidate must be a bona fide resident of the district and currently studying in Class V (for the 2026-27 session) in a Government or recognized school within that same district.
  2. Age Window: The candidate must be born between 01-05-2015 and 31-07-2017 (both dates inclusive).
  3. Academic Continuity: Students must have successfully completed and passed Classes III, IV, and V in consecutive years without skipping any grade.
  4. One-Time Opportunity: A candidate can only apply for the selection test once. Repeaters will be identified through data validation and their candidature will be cancelled.

The exam is a two-hour objective test (11:30 AM to 01:30 PM) consisting of 80 questions for a total of 100 marks.
