Trade-Wise Vacancy Overview

The recruitment covers a wide range of technical trades. Some of the major trades included are:

  • Fitter, Electrician, and Welder
  • Machinist, Carpenter, and Painter
  • Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance
  • Stenographer (English & Hindi)
  • Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)

Slots are distributed across several units, such as the Prayagraj Division (703 slots), Jhansi Division (514 slots), and Agra Division (296 slots).

How is the Merit List Prepared? (Selection Process)

There is no written exam or viva for this recruitment. The selection is based entirely on a merit list prepared using:

  1. 50% weightage of the percentage of marks in Matriculation (10th).
  2. 50% weightage of the percentage of marks in the ITI examination.

In the event of a tie in marks, the older candidate will be preferred.
