Short Information:Bihar Police Constable PST Admit Card 2026 The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar has released an important notice for candidates shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification (DV) under Advertisement No. 01/2026 for Constable (General Duty) posts in the Special Branch, Bihar Police.

The written examination was conducted on 24 June 2026, and the result was published on 18 August 2026. Candidates shortlisted for the next stage will appear for the PST and document verification on 12 September 2026 at the sports ground of Bihar Veterinary College, Patna.

Candidates can download their PST admit card from the CSBC website from 5 September 2026 at 12:00 midnight. Those unable to download the e-admit card can obtain a duplicate copy from the CSBC office in Patna on 10 September 2026 between 10 AM and 5 PM, at their own expense.

The PST admit card will be available on the CSBC website under the “Bihar Police” section from 5 September 2026 at 12:00 AM.

Candidates should download the admit card as soon as it becomes available and check all details carefully. Admit cards will not be sent through post.

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the PST venue without an admit card.

Bihar Police Constable PST 2026: What Will Be Checked?

During the Physical Standard Test, candidates will undergo measurement of the prescribed physical standards, including:

• Height
• Chest measurement, wherever applicable
• Weight, wherever applicable

The prescribed standards must be fulfilled by candidates. There is no special relaxation or order of preference for these measurements; candidates must qualify according to the applicable standards.

Document Verification on the Same Day

Document verification will be conducted on the same day as the PST. Candidates will not receive a separate opportunity for document verification.

Candidates must carry their admit card, original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.

Documents Required

Candidates should carry the applicable documents from the following list:

• Valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence or Voter ID.
• Matriculation/equivalent certificate and marksheet as proof of date of birth.
• Intermediate/equivalent examination pass certificate.
• Intermediate/equivalent marksheet.
• SC/ST candidates: caste certificate and permanent residence certificate issued by the competent authority.
• BC/EBC candidates: caste certificate, permanent residence certificate and valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate.
• EWS candidates: prescribed income and asset certificate for financial year 2024-25, along with permanent residence certificate.
• Eligible Freedom Fighter Ward (FFW) candidates: prescribed certificate issued by the District Magistrate/authorised officer and permanent residence certificate.
• Eligible Bihar Government employees: prescribed certificate confirming the required period of regular service.
• Any other document required under the applicable government rules or recruitment advertisement.

Important Rule for BC/EBC Candidates

BC and EBC candidates claiming reservation must provide a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate issued by the competent authority.

If the NCL certificate was issued more than one year earlier, candidates must also submit the required declaration in the prescribed Form-XVIII(B) as specified in the notice.

Important Rule for Female Reserved Category Candidates

The notice specifically states that SC, ST, BC and EBC female candidates claiming reservation must have their caste certificate issued using their father’s name and address, rather than their husband’s name and address. This applies to both married and unmarried women.

For a married woman claiming EWS reservation, the notice also specifies conditions concerning the income and asset certificate and permanent residence certificate. The same provision is stated to apply in relation to NCL requirements as well.

No Second Chance for Bihar Police Constable PST 2026

Attendance in the PST on the scheduled date is mandatory. Candidates who fail to appear will be treated as disqualified and will not be given another opportunity.

Similarly, document verification will be completed on the PST date itself. Candidates should therefore make sure that all required original documents and photocopies are ready before reaching the examination centre. No separate time or extension will be provided for producing documents later.

Candidates Must Follow These Instructions

Before appearing for the PST, candidates will have to submit a declaration regarding their physical and mental fitness and confirming that they have not consumed prohibited, intoxicating or performance-enhancing drugs.

The notice also makes it clear that requests for extra time or extension during the PST, document verification or related processes will not be accepted on grounds including personal, family, medical, pregnancy or other circumstances.

Candidates should also comply with all conditions mentioned in Advertisement No. 01/2026. Anyone found ineligible at any stage can be disqualified.
