CSIR NEERI Recruitment 2026: Selection Process

The selection process includes a Trade Test followed by a competitive written examination.

Written Exam Pattern

For Technical Assistant, the examination is graduation level, while the Technical Officer examination is at Post-Graduation/B.Tech level, depending on the advertised qualification. Both examinations have 200 questions and a total duration of three hours.

Paper-I is qualifying in nature. Paper-II and Paper-III are evaluated only for candidates who achieve the minimum threshold in Paper-I. The threshold marks will be decided by the Selection Committee and notified on the CSIR-NEERI website before the written examination.
